Finishes

We utilize a wide variety of products to achieve the desired look. Using low VOC(volatile organic compounds) and water based products helps us protect the finishes and your home. Below you will see a list of some of the products we use and how they work.

Glazes

A glaze is a thin semi-transparent layer of color which modifies the appearance of the underlying paint layer. We use this to create a popular "plaster" look. We also utilize glaze in multiple finishes like our faux textures consisting of wood, marble, brick, etc. to manipulate color.

Plasters

Venetian plaster is a finish consisting of plaster mixed with marble dust, applied with or trowel in thin, multiple layers, which are then burnished to create a smooth surface with the illusion of depth and texture. Our metallic plasters are durable, water resistant, mold & mildew resistant, and "yummy" to the touch.

Wood finish/stains

Using various products we are able to offer the option to enhance your wood treatments, or even give the illusion of wood where there isn't any. We prefer water based stains for utility and their low voc qualities.

Bas Relief

An old art, The term relief is from the Latin verb relevo, "to raise". Using a multitude of products we are able to sculpt life into your walls. This technique is one of our favorites to utilize, and leaves our clients with an original piece of art.
